More seriously, if you can only name two bigoted shitbags affiliated with GamerGate you weren't paying a lot of attention, but I'm not sure how that's relevant. The most vocal opponents of Israel's treatment of the Palestinian people are probably antisemites who don't give one shit about the Palestinians. As long as bigoted shitbags exist (so probably forever), they are going to reliably champion any and all causes that give them an excuse to bitch about the particular brand(s) of egalitarianism they don't like, because it's never about the causes; it's about the opportunity.

Carson's quoted as saying that scientists think it was aliens, but that "you know, it doesn’t require an alien being when God is with you", as if that was the only alternative. So he clearly has aliens on his mind.

Yeah, Casron is the guy who believes that pyramids were not built by aliens and weren't built by enslaved Israelites forced by Egyptians (good). What he does believe is that the Egyptians built it for a counter-factual purpose, directed by a single Israeli (wtf?).

Carson is the supposed doctor, right? Didn't that mean he went to school? Did he skip his History 101 classes? Or did he get his diploma out of a cereal box?

US History classes teach, when they reference it even a little, which is basically never, that the pyramids were built by slaves, even though this is wrong. They also teach, when they mention it at all, which is even less than that, that the israelis were slaves in Egypt and freed by Moses even though that also is definitely not the case at all.

So it makes sense that someone taught history in the US would believe the israelis built the pyramids, and that god helped them because he's a good guy who helped his slaves do impossible things to help their captors. Compared to that already super wrong belief, believing that israelis designed the pyramids and wanted them constructed is an extremely minor deviation from the already super wrong position that comes standard with americas shitty history teaching.
